Episode one, A Digging Into The Past Adventure, travels through time to learn about the past with a real-life archaeologist! The first part is out today and part two, two weeks later on 19 October.

Made By Mortals, the Manchester not-for-profit behind the kids podcast is set to release more adventures for kids across the next nine months, its Director Andy Smith says: “Our talented group of actors aged 65 and over have spent the summer coming up with ideas, sharing stories, writing daft jokes and practicing with our team of professional musicians to bring our little Armchair Adventures fans loads of super-fun new adventures.
“What started out as lockdown project has grown into one of the most popular podcasts in the world for kids aged 6-10. Three years later we’re over the moon about how much Armchair Adventures has captured the imagination of thousands of kids, their parent, carers and teachers.
“We can’t wait to see what season four brings and all the Adventures we’re going to have together! Get ready to embark on a journey of the imagination!”
It’s been a busy 12 months for the podcast, having been announced as the first kid’s podcast available on all Virgin Atlantic Flights, hitting over 150,000 listens, its partnership with Yoto, the screen-free audio player for children, and a recent speaking appearance at The Children’s Media Conference.
Season four of Armchair Adventures launches today, 5 October.
