Acast teams up with audio interface manufacturer Focusrite

Focusrite, the internationally renowned audio interface manufacturer, teased yesterday at The Podcast Show 2022, its plans to team up with Acast.

The companies will collaborate on forthcoming projects to better serve their mutual podcaster audiences.

More details will be announced early next month, but the project will provide podcasters with access to the best possible technology and innovation from the two audio experts.

Focusrite has served a wide customer base of professional, commercial and hobbyist creators for more than three decades, and is the worldโ€™s best-selling audio interface manufacturer. Used by recording musicians, producers and podcasters alike, Focusrite interfaces provide high-quality production of recorded sound whilst making creatorsโ€™ access to recording tech as easy as possible. Now, with Acast, they aim to keep creators at the heart of future product development.

Nicholas Howlett, Head of Brand and Marketing for Focusrite, said: โ€œFocusrite puts creatorsโ€™ needs at the forefront of every decision we make โ€“ an ethos we share with Acast. By bringing our two brands together, weโ€™re learning how to better serve our customers and ultimately see more creators empowered to share their stories. This partnership will see more podcasters โ€” and more podcasts โ€” emerging with better quality audio than ever before.โ€

Marie Abesamis, Global Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Acast, is confident the Focusrite partnership will give creators the best possible start to their podcasting journey. She added: โ€œAcast wants to make it as easy as possible for anyone who has a voice to start their own podcast. Focusrite produces some of the best audio tech around, so partnering with them helps give our podcasters access to even more of the tools they need for success.โ€
