Audioboom launches two new original podcasts for the UK

The Criminal Makeup with Danielle Kirsty and Glittering A Turd with Kris Hallenga are the latest podcasts developed and produced by Audioboom for the UK.

Launching today, The Criminal Makeup is hosted by prominent YouTube creator Danielle Kirsty who rose to fame by combining her passion for makeup and true crime and currently has 537k subscribers and over 55 million views on her YouTube channel.

New episodes will be released every Thursday and will include cases covered on her YouTube channel as well as brand new podcast exclusive stories.

“I’m fascinated by True Crime and the way the criminal mind works,” said Kirsty. “When Audioboom reached out with the opportunity, I just couldn’t turn down the chance to talk to as many people as possible. I love the community that we’ve built on YouTube and I’m excited to now bring that over into the podcast space.”

Best-selling author, columnist and CoppaFeel charity Founder Kris Hallenga shares her uplifting journey on her new podcast, Glittering A Turd.

Kris openly and candidly speaks with guests about taking positives from moments of adversity, acknowledging that life can be a turd, and then proceeding to roll that turd in glitter.

“I know that life doesn’t go the way you expect it and I couldn’t be happier to take what I’ve learned into the world of podcasting, to speak to well-known names and faces about their Turds and how they’ve glittered them,” says Hallenga. “I also cannot wait to share real stories from real people, as the audience are part of this podcast too.”

Hallenga’s book of the same name details her journey after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer at age 23. She recently commemorated her 13 year ‘cancerversary’ and takes each day as it comes. Join Hallenga each week as she hears from others, offers advice and shares more of her story. Glittering A Turd launches August 2022.

“The key to continue Audioboom’s momentum in the UK podcast space is recognizing and investing in talent that we believe in,” said Brendan Regan, Chief Content Officer. “The Criminal Makeup and Glittering A Turd have given us the opportunity to collaborate with two driven and captivating personalities that listeners around the world are excited to engage with.”
