The BBC TV crime drama Inside Man, which stars Stanley Tucci and David Tennant, now has a companion podcast.
Inside Man is a story following the mysteriously interlinked lives of a prisoner on death row, a vicar, a journalist and a maths teacher – who happens to be trapped in a cellar.
The two-part companion podcast, Obsessed Withโฆ Inside Man is hosted by Steven Moffat and Dolly Wells.
Steven is the creator of the TV show and of the award-winning series Sherlock. Actress Dolly is a star from The Outlaws. The pair delve into all the twists and turns of the series while also unravelling key moments as the story develops.
Steven Moffat says: โWorking on Inside Man has been a blast and I canโt wait to dive into the series with Dolly. She was my first thought for Janice and no one else could have played her the way she does. Between us we have plenty of behind-the-scenes info to share, and rest assured – what we canโt remember, we are more than prepared to make up.โ
Dolly Wells adds: โInside Man is a unique take on a classic detective story, so as you can imagine thereโs so much for us to explore in the podcast. Working with Steven has been a privilege and a joy and I absolutely loved chatting with him about the show.โ
Details of this TV series have been kept closely under wraps, until now. Obsessed Withโฆ Inside Man includes Steven and Dollyโs exclusive stories from behind the scenes and they also discuss the taleโs grim and dark comedic themes.
Episode one of Obsessed Withโฆ Inside Man will be available on BBC Sounds from today, 27 September, following the TV show.
