Esther Rantzen is back with BBC That’s Life! presenting partner Adrian Mills for a brand-new podcast series.
Broadcasting legends Esther and Adrian are set to launch the brand new That’s After Life! podcast, featuring guest interviews from the likes of Anton Du Beke, Michael Palin, Barry Humphries, Joanna Lumley, Natalie Dormer and many more.
Esther and Adrian last worked together on That’s Life! and they have stayed firm friends over all these years. Adrian is determined to tease Esther and ensure she reveals some secrets about herself that have never been told before.
“The question I always get asked is what is Esther Rantzen really like. Well tune into this podcast and you’ll find out quite a lot about the real Esther and the stars who’ve joined us,” says Adrian.
The entertainment podcast will include topical chat, listeners’ emails and celebrity interviews that centre around the guest’s chosen charity: “It’s the perfect opportunity to support charities after an awfully hard year, in a celebrity interview format we all know and love,” says Dame Esther Rantzen.
Listeners will be encouraged to interact and share their views, with listeners’ emails read out every week – some to make you laugh, some to make you cry, and some to spark a healthy debate amongst us all!
Adrian Mills adds: “We’re all stuck at home at the moment but that doesn’t mean we haven’t got a lot to say – there’s so much going on out there and we hope to make everyone feel more connected. Whether that’s over an interesting viewpoint, a hilarious story, or a brand new version of That’s Life! sausages dog!”
That’s After Life!, made by production company Captive Minds, is aimed squarely at those who remember BBC’s That’s Life!, and who may never have listened to a podcast before – the show focuses on no fuss listening and will be available from 10 March here.
