Inside Gangs of London: The Official Podcast has launched as one of Sky’s first major companion podcasts for an original drama.
The launch comes ahead of the return of the BAFTA-winning Sky Original drama on Sky Atlantic on 20 October.
As companion to the main series, the podcast gives exclusive insights from the makers of the series, with behind-the-scenes revelations, forensic deep dives into the production itself, and inside stories from the people who are part of making it all happen.
Hosted by director and executive producer, Corin Hardy, guests will include voices from behind and in front of the camera, looking back to season one and ahead to season two of the TV show.
Corin looks at all sides of the TV show with the guests and delves into the real-world influences that give the show its sense of gritty realism. They also examine the behind-the-scenes craft that goes into making the spectacular action sequences the talk of social media.
Gangs of London was originally created in 2020 by the award-winning filmmaker of The Raid film franchise, Gareth Evans and his creative partner Matt Flannery. After directing feature films, The Hallow (2015) and The Nun (2018), Corin Hardy joined Evans and his team to direct three episodes of the show’s first series.
Now the show’s lead director, Corin shares all his stories from his Gangs of London experience on the podcast.
The first episode of Inside Gangs of London: The Official Podcast is now available on all podcast platforms, with another four episodes released daily on the 20, 21, 22 and 23.
