Jameela Jamil has launched a new podcast, Wrong Turns, which dives into the pivotal mistakes and questionable decisions that have shaped her life and the lives of her guests.
Described by Jamil as an “anti-inspiration” podcast, the series pushes back against toxic positivity, making space for the idea that some experiences aren’t lessons at all – just bad moments worth talking about.
With her trademark mix of wit and curiosity, actress and presenter Jamil approaches each conversation with a willingness to embrace the awkward, the uncomfortable, and the unconventional.
Guests span a range of comedians, cultural figures, and entertainers, sharing stories that reveal both the humour and humanity in moments of struggle.
Recent episodes have featured Simon Pegg, Jordan Firstman, Bob The Drag Queen, and Mae Martin. Upcoming episodes include Adam Pally and Malik Elessa followed by Katherine Ryan and Alan Carr in future weeks.
“The show is really for anyone who wants to feel less alone in their mistakes,” Jamil explains. “It’s about knowing that everyone, no matter how successful they appear, has had just as many rough patches as the rest of us.”
New episodes of Wrong Turns are released every Thursday.
