A new companion podcast, The Official The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Podcast, is being launched by Amazon Music and Prime Video.
Hosted by actress and Tolkien super-fan Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Magicians), all eight episodes will be available free from Amazon Music on 14 October after the season ends.
Felicia takes a look at the ground-breaking series and what it takes to bring Middle-earth to life. Each episode features exclusive interviews with cast and crew, including Morfydd Clark (Galadriel), Ismael Cruz Cordova (Arondir), Sophia Nomvete (Princess Disa), Charlie Vickers (Halbrand), composer Bear McCreary, and showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay.
“As a fan of all things Tolkien, I could not be more excited to explore all things Middle-earth and spill all the magical secrets that brought the new series to life,” said Felicia Day. “The Official Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Podcast is giving it all away; we are talking with cast and creators to get all the behind-the-scenes tea!”
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has been a huge success in its first season, with over 25 million views for the first two episodes over the series’ premiere weekend.
