Audioboom has renewed partnerships with The Broski Report with Brittany Broski, National Park After Dark, The Nateland Podcast, Minds of Madness and Serialously with Annie Elise.
Two sales executives, Molly Harvey and Shaun Wilson, have been hired by Audioboom across its US and UK Sales division.
Harvey will join as Vice President, Brand Sales and Wilson will return to Audioboom as Vice President, UK Sales, from 15 April.
Audioboom, has extended its partnerships with The Tim Dillon Show, Crime Weekly, I Think Not, True Crime Obsessed, and Real Ghost Stories.
These five shows are an important part of the Audioboom Creator Network, having contributed over 90 million downloads to the network last year.
Audioboom says that 2023 was an “exceptional year of growth and success” for the company.
Podcasts on the Audioboom Creator Network were downloaded 1.5 billion times in 2023 and were listened to in more than 150 countries. The USA, UK and Australia were its biggest regions for listening, but shows were also heard in Antarctica, The Ivory Coast, and Madagascar.
Audioboom says it has surpassed 1 billion available monthly advertising impressions for the first time.
During October 2023, podcasts in the Audioboom Creator Network generated 1.01 billion advertising impressions which were made available for brands to buy through Premium host-endorsement ads and Showcase, the network’s automated advertising marketplace.
This was achieved with the help of the AdRip inventory creation tool, first launched by Audioboom in 2021.
Jim Lally is the new Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Audioboom.
He’ll be responsible for developing partnerships with brand advertisers and growing commercial opportunities with advertisers and agencies.
Before joining Audioboom, Lally held senior positions at several media companies, including The New York Times and WNYC Studios. Most recently, he headed all podcast and network broadcast sales for Soundrise (formerly the Market Enginuity Podcast Group) as the Senior Vice President of Sales.
Audioboom is expanding its creator network with the launch of new partnerships and signings.
