British Lebanese comic and podcaster, Esther Manito is returning to host the Independent Podcast Awards for a second year.
The judges have judged, the votes have been counted, and the nominations for the 2024 Independent Podcast Awards have now been announced.
Entries to the Independent Podcast Awards have now closed with 22% more than last year, at nearly 450 received.
The Independent Podcast Awards 2024 are now open for entry, with fees held at 2023 prices, and brand-new categories added.
Set up in 2023 by whynow Media and Em McGowan from the Verbal Diorama podcast, the Awards are for podcasts that are truly independent of corporate ties and celebrity hosts, with the aim of highlighting shows that other awards events often pass over.
It’s been confirmed that the Independent Podcast Awards will return this year with entries opening in spring.
The awards, which were launched last year by whynow and Verbal Diorama, will take place this year at Kings Place in Kings Cross on Wednesday 23 October.
