Hit podcast The Girlfriends to return for second series

Novel and iHeartRadio are launching a second series The Girlfriends, with an introductory episode now available.

The first series told the true story of host Carole Fisher and a group of women who all dated the same guy, Bob Bierenbaum, who it transpires murdered his wife, Gail Katz.

Carole returns for the second to investigate the next chapter in the story.

The podcast, from iHeartPodcasts and Novel will see Grace going on 28 dates across two months, only dating people who are the total opposite of her usual type.

Audio from the actual dates will be included and also the post-date debriefs between Grace and her friends Roz and Dan.

Released by Novel last month in collaboration with global nonprofit NO MORE, the story illuminates the ways women unite to protect each other when systems of justice fail them.
