Black Box is a new six-part podcast series from The Guardian that looks at humanity’s collision with AI.

Hosted by Michael Safi, each episode follows a new story. In Norway, a young woman’s boyfriend forgets who she is, overnight. In Detroit, a shop is robbed, and a man is arrested but he says he was never there. In a small town in Spain, disturbing deep fake images of young girls have been circulating and no one knows who is behind them.

The Guardian’s flagship daily news podcast Today in Focus was launched five years ago and has achieved 250 million listens.

Since launching in November 2018, the podcast hosted by Guardian journalists Nosheen Iqbal and Michael Safi has won a number of industry awards for its reporting, production and sound design. Most recently winning gold in the ‘best news and current affairs’ category and silver in the ‘best daily podcast’ category at the 2023 British Podcast awards.

The Guardian’s award-winning podcast Comfort Eating with Grace Dent is back for a new series.

It’s also releasing its first book, titled Comfort Eating: What We Eat When Nobody’s Looking and host and Guardian restaurant critic Grace Dent will be taking to the stage with two special live events in London and Manchester.

Across the 12 new weekly episodes of the podcast, famous faces including Nadiya Hussain, Jon Ronson and Shirley Ballas chat about life through food.

The Guardian’s Pop Culture with Chanté Joseph podcast will be live and in-person for the first time at the London Podcast Festival 2023.

On Sunday 27 September at 2pm, host Chanté Joseph will be in conversation with professional matchmaker, author, entrepreneur and television host Paul C Brunson. They’ll be discussing topics such as dating, relationships, pop culture and many more.
