tonies launches podcast designed to keep children off screens
The world’s largest interactive audio platform for children, tonies® is launching Today with tonies, a podcast to encourage children to keep of their screens.
Hosted by presenters Sam Fletcher-Goodwin and Tim Warwood, this informative and playful podcast is for children aged 4 to 7.
Based on the award-winning daily exclusive show, Today with tonies will launch as a podcast for the first time, kicking off with 14 ten minute long episodes packed full of fun, facts, challenges and jokes.
In partnership with podcast production and promotion company, Mags Creative and produced with the support of an educational consultant, the podcast takes into account the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, covering subjects such as poetry, science, maths and music in an accessible and enjoyable way.
Designed to keep children away from screens and drawing from the power of their imaginations, hosts Sam and Tim will lead interactive exercises such as breaking down well known classical music pieces, solving riddles and encouraging children to make up their own rhymes.
Hannah Russell, Co-founder of Mags Creative, says of the podcast: “As a mother myself I’m so excited to work on a project that widens the pool of safe, secure and screen-free content for kids. And not only that – it’s entertaining too!
“Mags Creative is all about building communities through audio, and the phenomenal response we’ve had from parents and little listeners shows that this podcast is already doing just that, so we can’t wait to bring this podcast to even more ears.”
More content can be accessed through daily episodes of the show by purchasing the Toniebox, the children’s musical storybox, and the podcast Tonie figurine.
Today with tonies launches on 9 July.
