Comedy sitcom podcast Barmy Dale crowdfunds for next series

The hit podcast sitcom Barmy Dale made in Derbyshire, is crowdfunding for series three on Kickstarter.

The show, inspired by the town of Wirksworth, features a range of sitcom legends including Vicki Michelle from Allo Allo and Jeffrey Holland from Hi De Hi and You Rang my Lord.

Set in the fictional town of Barmy Dale, the podcast follows a group of eccentric residents as they navigate their daily lives. The show has been praised for its clever writing, witty dialogue and exceptional performances.

The show’s creators say the third series will be more outrageous than the previous two, with plot twists and includes bringing back beloved characters while introducing new ones into the mix.

As part of the crowdfunding, the team of Barmy Dale are offering some perks through Kickstarter, with one being the opportunity to appear as a minor character in an episode from the new series.
