Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Joe Sugg and Strictly superfan and producer Kim Winston will once again host Strictly Come Dancing: The Official Podcast on BBC Sounds.
After each Sunday night results show on BBC One, the latest episode of the podcast on BBC Sounds will see hosts reflecting on the results and go backstage for news, interviews, games, laughter and tears.
They’ll be speaking exclusively to the contestants, professional dancers, judges and the backstage crew who bring the action on the dancefloor to screens.
Joe Sugg says: “I can’t wait to be back on the podcast with Kim following the new contestants in the upcoming series. Let’s see what behind the scenes surprises the ballroom has in store for us in 2023!”
Kim Winston adds: “As summer draws to an end we look forward to the return of the dancefloor! It’s a huge pleasure to be back for another year to host the podcast alongside Joe. I’m really looking forward to the excitement we’ll be sharing with the listeners once again.”
The 2023 Strictly line up is: Amanda Abbington, Annabel Croft, Angela Rippon CBE, Angela Scanlon, Adam Thomas, Bobby Brazier, Eddie Kadi, Ellie Leach, Jody Cundy CBE, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Layton Williams, Les Dennis, Nigel Harman, Nikita Kanda and Zara McDermott.
Episode one of Strictly Come Dancing: The Official Podcast will be available on BBC Sounds on Saturday 16 September looking ahead to the new series.
The second episode will follow on 24 September without the Strictly results show for the first week of the competition.
Following episodes will then be available every week after the Strictly results show on Sundays from 1 October. There will be two extra episodes on Thursday 14 December before the final and a Christmas special on 25 December.
