I’m Feeling Queer Today podcast launches second season

Following a five-star-rated debut and recognition from Apple Podcasts’ Pride Collection, the second season of I’m Feeling Queer Today has launched.

The podcast uses a combination of true-storytelling, interviews, trivia and thought-provoking discussions that centre queer youth voices in conversation around LGBTQIA+ rights, culture and activism.

It’s produced by The Future Perfect Project, a team of young adults dedicated to the same cause.

Celeste Lecesne, Artistic Director and co-founder of The Future Perfect Project says: “These days, a lot is being said about LGBTQ+ youth, but rarely do we get to hear from the young people themselves.

“Season 2 of I’m Feeling Queer Today! literally hands the mic to eleven queer young people scattered across North America. They are giving voice to a generation that is challenging age-old notions of identity and insisting on authenticity as a benchmark of personal success.

“Now, more than ever, we need their vision of a better world, one in which everyone is free to be themselves.”

The latest series explores the intersections of queerness with disability, neurodivergence, gender, and geography, with topics like the transmasculine experience and disability justice.

There are conversations with a disability justice scholar, insights from a queer business owner pioneering a “non-binary business model,” together with the voices of queer youth today.

I’m Feeling Queer Today! is available from today, 12 December on all major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
