Comedian Sophie McCartney is launching a brand-new series of her Tired and Tested podcast with Comedy Nation Sounds.
Topics covered can include anything from her latest botox treatments, to the correct way to ‘do a Craig David’ (the tequila shooter – not the singer!), and that time she found herself explaining penis pic etiquette to an unsuspecting 78-year-old man on a cruise ship!
The award-winning comedian, and double number one bestselling author, is also known for her calamitous escapades as a 40-year-old mother of three and the podcast is her ‘safe space’ to let off steam where nothing is off limits, which is how she built her 1.3 million followers praising her hilariously brutal honesty.
The pilot series of the podcast was a success, reaching the Top 5 podcast comedy charts when it launched back in 2023.
After a record-breaking 75 date debut stand-up tour, Sophie is back with her partner in wine Lucy Couldwell (aka Lucy with the Fringe). There are features from the pilot, including ‘Urban Dictionary Corner’ where Lucy challenges Sophie to decode a phrase or word the ‘youth of today’ use to see if she’s still ‘relevant’.
Also making a comeback is ‘Parenting Tales/ Fails’ where listeners share hilarious stories to help reassure other tired parents they aren’t as sh*t as they think.
Listeners can also look forward to special guest episodes where Sophie invites friends from the comedy world to come and join the chaos.

The podcast is the first to be produced by Comedy Nation Sounds, a brand-new production company under Live Nation Entertainment.
