GAA Social podcast plans its biggest live event in Belfast

The BBC’s award-winning GAA Social podcast is set to host its biggest ever live event at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on 15 July.

Presented by Thomas Niblock and Óisín McConville, the show will feature a panel of guests, including well-known names from both hurling and football, recorded just before the All-Ireland hurling and football finals.

The Waterfront Hall, one of Belfast’s major venues, has been chosen to accommodate the large audience expected, reflecting the popularity of the GAA Social podcast and its reputation as a great live show.

Tickets for the event are now available via the Waterfront Hall ticketing website, with a booking fee applied to cover fulfilment costs.

Presenter Thomas Niblock said: “We have some fantastic guests lined up and we’ll definitely have plenty to look forward to and review with two massive football semi-finals still fresh in minds. And then two equally massive finals ahead of us.

“We’ll also have a very special recording of the podcast. In short, this is an opportunity just to say thank you. It’ll be a great night, and we’ll have some fun.”

The GAA Social podcast has built a strong following for its conversations around Gaelic games, combining insight, humour and storytelling with some of the sport’s biggest personalities.

With this Waterfront Hall show, fans will get the chance to hear those conversations in person, just days before the sporting highlights of the All-Ireland calendar.
