Spotify has announced the return of The Louis Theroux Podcast for series six, with a line-up of high-profile guests.
Louis will be joined by Academy Award nominee Florence Pugh, comedian and writer Steve Coogan, Monty Python legend Michael Palin, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai and Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, with more names to follow.
Since its launch in 2023, the podcast has attracted some of Louis’ most memorable interviews. Series five featured Ed Sheeran on his cultural roots, Bella Ramsey on gendered awards, Sean Penn on Hollywood and politics and Little Simz in a role-reversing exchange.
The show’s back catalogue has also delivered headline moments with Sharon Stone, Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Nick Cave, Tracey Emin, Armie Hammer and Mia Khalifa, helping it become one of Spotify’s most popular titles.
Louis said: “Who’s ready for a generous serving of hot salted pod? Yes, The Louis Theroux Podcast is back for another run and this time we’re serious (and occasionally comic).
“We’ve got Steve Coogan. We’ve got Florence Pugh. We’ve got David Byrne. We’ve got Malala Yousafzai. We’ve got Michael Palin. We’ve got some other people I’m not allowed to tell you about.”
The Louis Theroux Podcast is produced by Mindhouse for Spotify. Audio is available on all podcast platforms, with video episodes exclusive to Spotify. Series six begins Tuesday 7 October.
