Bauer Media Audio expands audioXi network with new TuneIn deal

Bauer Media Audio has expanded its digital audio advertising network, audioXi, through a new direct reseller agreement with TuneIn, extending into Poland, Slovakia and Portugal.

audioXi is Bauer’s digital audio advertising exchange, connecting brands with premium inventory across digital radio, podcasts and streaming platforms.

The partnership with TuneIn, one of the world’s leading live audio services, significantly increases the available advertising inventory across Europe and unlocks millions of additional monthly ad impressions.

The move allows advertisers working with audioXi to reach a broader audience through TuneIn’s digital audio content, which spans live radio, podcasts, music, sport and news. It also brings greater transparency and flexibility to buying and selling ad space, helping advertisers engage digital audio listeners more effectively.

Rob Timony, Senior Vice President, Commercial Advisory at Bauer Media Audio, said the deal strengthens the company’s offering: “Partnering directly with TuneIn allows us to provide advertisers with more transparent, flexible and impactful ways to connect with audiences. This move underlines our focus on delivering high-quality inventory at scale across Europe.”

Josh Rothman, President of Global Advertising Revenue at TuneIn, added: “Selling our inventory directly through audioXi makes it easier for advertisers to reach TuneIn listeners and strengthens our position in markets where we are growing quickly.”

The expanded agreement, Bauer says, builds on its strategy to scale premium audio inventory and enhance platform partnerships, further solidifying its position as a leader in Europe’s growing digital audio market.
