A lineup of talent from Acast Creator Network podcasts, including Off Menu, My Dad Wrote A Porno, Football Ramble, The Guilty Feminist and Dan Snow’s History Hit are mashing their shows together, creating one-off episodes, to show Funny Is Power for Red Nose Day.
Stars of the world’s biggest podcasts and Comic Relief have once again joined forces for a podcast mash-up series, all in aid of Red Nose Day 2022 (18 March) with episodes released this Sunday, 13 March.
The Red Nose Day Podcast Mashup will help people in the UK and around the world live free from poverty, violence and discrimination, and support people with their mental health. Donations will also help to fund organisations providing essential support for people in Ukraine affected by the terrifying conflict and those attempting to cross the border to safety.
“The cream of UK comedy talent has once again come together for an incredible cause,” said John Harris, Content Partner Manager at Acast. “Acast is the home of comedy podcasts and, working with our creators and Comic Relief, we’ve pulled out all the stops to deliver some of the funniest podcast episodes you’re ever likely to hear. Podcast fans all over the world are in for an absolute treat”.
Samir Patel, CEO, Comic Relief, added: “We’re so pleased to be joining forces with Acast on some of the biggest and funniest podcasts in the UK. I hope this year’s series provides many laughs and we appreciate all donations listeners can give, big or small. The donations will help people live free from poverty, violence and discrimination.
