Acast launches global Ads Academy with free certification courses

Acast has launched a new learning platform, Acast Ads Academy, offering two free courses to help marketers gain skills and confidence in podcast advertising.

The Academy provides a certification to those who pass the final exam, giving advertisers an industry-recognised qualification. It has been created using more than a decade of Acast’s experience and campaign data, and is expected to train thousands worldwide this year.

The courses are structured into short, self-paced modules that aim to deliver practical insights which can be applied straight away.

Podcast Advertising 101 introduces newcomers to how the medium works, including campaign planning, measurement and creative execution. Podcast Advertising 201 is aimed at experienced advertisers, covering advanced targeting, programmatic buying and omnichannel optimisation.
