Adelicious unveils new senior leadership following Audioboom acquisition

Adelicious has revealed a new senior leadership structure designed to support its next stage of growth, following its acquisition by Audioboom earlier this year.

The announcement brings together two leading UK podcasting teams under one banner to strengthen the company’s commercial and operational capabilities.

As part of the restructure, Audioboom’s UK sales and partnerships team has merged with the existing Adelicious team. The move is to enhance UK operations and align the business with Audioboom’s ambition to take British podcasting to a global audience.

Gemma O’Brien and Shaun Wilson have been appointed Joint Vice Presidents, UK Sales, leading commercial strategy across the market.

Mike Newman continues as Vice President, UK Content & Partnerships, overseeing creator development and podcast acquisition, while Lora Elliott has been promoted to Director, Sales Operations, responsible for internal campaign delivery and sales enablement.

Andrew Goldsmith, President of Adelicious, said: “It’s an exciting time for Adelicious as we enter a new phase of growth following our acquisition by Audioboom, and it was important to get the right senior team in place to take us forward.

“It’s exciting to bring together two brilliant and experienced teams to both support our podcasters and help us deliver on our own ambitions.”

Audioboom’s acquisition of Adelicious this summer created the UK’s largest homegrown podcast network, reaching more than 40 million unique listeners and generating around 135 million monthly downloads and video views.

The leadership update follows the recent appointment of Craig Eastwood as Vice President, International at Audioboom, further reinforcing the company’s long-term global growth strategy.
