Advertising and podcast company AdLarge acquires Inlet Media

AdLarge has announced that it has acquired the assets of technology platform Inlet Media Inc.

The advertising and podcast creator monetisation company has used Inlet Media for nearly two years to onboard, distribute, and monetise audio and video content across podcast and creator workflows.

The deal supports AdLarge and the fwd. network’s evolution into a technology-first audio, video, and content marketing ecosystem designed to serve creators and advertisers at scale.

As part of the acquisition, Inlet Media co-founder Patrick Cedrowski has been appointed Chief Technology Officer of AdLarge and the fwd. network, marking the first time the organisation has created a CTO role.

Brian Egan, also a co-founder of Inlet Media and a longstanding member of the AdLarge and fwd. network team, has been promoted to Vice President and Head of Product.

The Inlet platform is already deeply integrated into AdLarge and the fwd. network’s infrastructure, but by bringing the technology in-house, the company says it will be able to expand revenue opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and deliver more performance-focused tools for creators and advertisers.

“Bringing Inlet’s technology in-house will enable us to develop it in a more integrated way,” said Patrick Cedrowski. “Now we can accelerate innovation, scale faster, and build a more connected, data-driven ecosystem for creators and advertisers.”

In his new role, Brian Egan will lead product strategy and execution across AdLarge and the fwd. network’s creator, video, and monetisation platforms.

He said the move would ensure product development remains closely aligned with the needs of creators, advertisers, and brand partners.

The acquisition forms part of AdLarge’s wider strategy, alongside the fwd. network, to invest in technology and AI-enabled innovation across podcasting, audio, and video.

The company says this approach is designed to unlock new revenue streams while delivering more efficient and scalable solutions across its growing portfolio.
