The agenda for the first ever Independent Podcast Forum for indie creators, which includes sessions from video to making money from podcasting, has been revealed.
Taking place on Monday 16 June at 21 Soho in London, the event will bring together indie podcasters for a day of networking and learning, from the expert speakers and from each other.
The day has a lineup of speakers already confirmed including Rosie Wilby (The Breakup Monologues), Lauren Mischon and Nicole Goodman (Self Care Club & 40ish), who will be talking about their experiences of turning a podcast into a book.
Kobi Omenaka (Stripped Media) will be taking attendees through how to make money from podcasting, plus Alice Florence Orr (Podcast Review) and Patricia Nicol (Sunday Times), discussing how to pitch your podcast to journalists.
The day will end with a View From The Top panel featuring representativess from Acast, Amazon and Spotify talking about what they think the future of podcasting looks like. Attendees will then be invited discuss the day’s learning with drinks in the bar.
