AI podcast start-up secures £50,000 grant to make ads for small businesses
Start-up business Klaxon AI has been given a £50,000 grant to develop a system for small businesses to easily make podcast ads.
The Peterborough based company will use the grant, awarded by the UK’s innovation agency, to develop an advert generator which allows companies make 30-second ads for podcasts in a few minutes.
Companies using it, tell the computer about their business in a few words or give the exact wording they’d like to use, then AI generates the ad.
Klaxon AI’s co-founder Arup Biswas says that this will provide a much cheaper way for small businesses who can’t afford podcast advertising to quickly make a professional advert. He also says his company has already had a lot of interest from small businesses.
Klaxon AI currently uses artificial intelligence to research, script, voice and create podcasts. The user chooses the topic, length, language and voice for the podcast, then the AI produces the finished podcast in a few minutes.
