Anthony Scaramucci’s interview series Open Book has joined the Goalhanger network, expanding its reach to new audiences.
The weekly show, co-produced by SALT and the Casablanca Strategy Group, invites prominent voices from business, politics, entertainment and culture to discuss a key piece of their work, from books to essays, and reflect on how ideas from the past are shaping the future.
Past guests have included Maggie Haberman, Kara Swisher, Niall Ferguson, Michael Wolff, Andrew Cuomo, Chris Christie and Mark Esper.
The first Goalhanger episode will be released on 24 September, featuring historian and bestselling author James Holland. Known as co-host of We Have Ways of Making You Talk, Holland will explore his latest books, Victory ’45 and Cassino ’44: The Brutal Battle for Rome.
Anthony Scaramucci said: “I couldn’t be more excited to bring Open Book to Goalhanger, expanding the reach of these conversations to an even wider audience. Partnering with them ensures that Open Book will continue to grow and thrive, and I’m thrilled to see where we will take it together.”
Goalhanger co-founder Tony Pastor added: “When I first met Anthony, I told him his weekly commitment to Goalhanger would be about an hour. A few years on, it’s safe to say we’re getting a lot more than that.
“He’s become a cornerstone of the company, with millions tuning in every week to hear him and Katty on The Rest Is Politics: US. I’m delighted we can now bring his long-running Open Book podcast into the fold, and we’ll be leaning on his formidable contact book to deliver some truly fascinating conversations.”
