Audiotrain sessions to look at AI in podcasting, audiobooks and radio

AudioUK’s Audiotrain is to hold a series of webinars exploring the relationship between AI and audio.

Scheduled to take place over the coming months, the AI and Audio season will feature three webinars, each delving into different facets of AI’s impact on the audio landscape.

Adam Fritz, CEO of Pozotron and a recently added Audiotrain sponsor, will be spearheading the first webinar. He will dive into the role of AI in scripted audio and audiobooks, as he introduces Pozotron’s innovative AI-powered audio production software platform. The session will be on Tuesday 27 February, from 4-5pm GMT.

The second webinar will be presented by Reviewed and Cleared’s Jane Clements, an industry expert with a wealth of experience in AI and audio, will unravel the mysteries of AI’s ethical and legal impact within audio content creation. The session will be on Wednesday 20 March from 1-2pm GMT.

Further webinars on AI and audio will be announced soon.

The AI and Audio season is open to all industry professionals, audio enthusiasts, and anyone intrigued by artificial intelligence and audio technologies.

Chloe Straw, Managing Director of AudioUK, the audio producers’ trade body which runs Audiotrain, said: “AI is today’s most talked-about technological phenomenon and we’re keen to give both audio professionals and those with a passing interest the opportunity to learn more about it; how it can be an opportunity to streamline production processes, as well as understanding more about the ethical and legal implications of AI use.

“We hope these sessions will be valuable for everyone in the audio community and beyond. We’re also delighted to welcome Pozotron as a new Audiotrain sponsor and look forward to working with them.”
