BBC Radio 5 Live is launching a new daily podcast with Matt Chorley, offering political analysis ahead of this yearโs Autumn Budget.
Matt Chorleyโs Urgent Questions will feature highlights from Chorleyโs 5 Live show, which airs Monday to Friday from 2pm to 4pm.
Each 25-minute episode will bring together interviews and memorable moments from the programme, giving audiences an entertaining yet informative take on Westminster and beyond.
Since its launch last September, the radio show has featured high-profile guests including Sir Keir Starmer, Boris Johnson, and Kemi Badenoch.
Matt Chorley said: โI know that taking politics seriously doesnโt mean doing it boringly. Often it means doing politics without the politicians at all. The podcast will be packed with the best bits, the smartest bits, the funniest bits, and the bits that make you think โoh, so thatโs why they do thatโ.โ
Chorley added that while he wonโt tell listeners what to think, he hopes to help them understand how politics really works or sometimes doesnโt.
Matt Chorleyโs Urgent Questions will be available on BBC Sounds every weekday from 10 November, giving listeners a fresh daily take on the biggest political stories.
