Beth’s Spooky Story Time is returning this Halloween with a three-part special from Mercury Podcast Network.
The series delves into the real-life supernatural experiences that shaped host Beth’s fascination with the paranormal.
Known for blending true horror with personal storytelling, the podcast features an unsettling journey through haunted houses, ghostly encounters, and chilling childhood memories.
The full special launches on Patreon on Sunday 26 October, with each episode rolling out across Halloween week – Part 1 on 26 October, Part 2 on Wednesday 29 October, and Part 3 on Halloween night, Friday 31 October – on all podcast platforms.
“This special isn’t just about scares,” said Beth. “It’s about the moments that stay with you – the unexplained events that shape your life, and the fear and wonder of growing up somewhere truly haunted. I wanted listeners to feel what it was like to live it firsthand.”
Part 1 explores the eerie origins of Beth’s obsession when her family moved into a wartime house where her sister befriended an invisible playmate named Belinda. Part 2 revisits a terrifying night of teenage Ouija board experiments gone wrong. The finale brings Beth back to the same haunted house years later, where unexplained noises and moving curtains revive old fears.
Liam Heffernan, Founder and CEO of Mercury Podcast Network, said: “Beth’s Spooky Story Time is the perfect example of high-quality independent storytelling. Her Halloween special is terrifying, immersive and deeply personal — the kind of podcast that stays with you long after the lights are back on.”
New episodes of Beth’s Spooky Story Time are released twice a week, with the Halloween special available exclusively on Patreon from today, 26 October.
