Bill Nighy is stepping into podcasting with a brand-new series that promises to take on listeners’ everyday dilemmas, no matter how small or strange.
ill-Advised by Bill Nighy invites listeners to send in their questions on anything from how to navigate awkward social situations to parking problems or how to disappear at parties.
Bill will attempt to offer advice in his own unique style, without guaranteeing that he won’t make things worse.

Billed as a home for the clumsy and socially awkward, ill-Advised is aimed at those who feel out of place. Bill suggests that people who are already confident and socially adept might not find much here, but for others it could provide a funny and comforting kind of refuge.
The show will also include regular features such as a recommended book and a playlist of the week, with the possibility of more segments developing as the series goes on. Bill describes the project as “an invitation to squander time,” which he proudly calls his superpower.
Listeners can send in voice notes with their questions via Instagram – @illadvisedbybillnighy for the chance to be featured on episodes.
Produced by EYEPOD Studios and distributed by Acast, ill-Advised by Bill Nighy launches on 9 October on all podcast platforms.
