Former BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Shaun Keaveny has announced on Twitter that he’s launching a new podcast in January.
Shaun spent 14 years at 6 Music but decided to leave the station last September, saying he felt it was time for a change.
Shaun Keaveny’s Creative Cul-De-Sac will be a podcast about unrealised ideas – those that people have had and perhaps written down but forgotten about.
“It’s a true known fact that true creativity is nine tenths unseen,” say Shaun, “What about the rest? That’s what we’re discovering on Shaun Keaveny’s Creative Cul-De-Sac.”
Episode one of the podcast will see Shaun going through his own ideas. He says that he has 30 years of unrealised ideas in notebooks and stuffed everywhere, which he intends to bring to life in an interesting and sometimes, insightful way.
Further episodes will feature special guests revealing their own ideas. Those lined-up to appear include Vic Reeves, Nina Conti, Samira Ahmed, Greg James and Tim Key.
In addition to this, Shaun also wants to hear from anyone who has any unrealised ideas to feature them in the podcast which is due to lunch in January 2022.
