Cecilia Harris is a guest on Take Flight, the UK’s No.1 peak performance podcast

Take Flight is a podcast which inspires listeners to find inner strength and take a leap of faith towards a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life.

Founder and presenter Mark Whittle, a former athlete and City worker turned lifestyle coach, entrepreneur, mental health advocate and productivity / bio-hacker, provides actionable tools including productivity hacks, exercise and dietary advice, to help people pursue their passion and purpose.

The latest episode features Cecilia Harris, co-founder of Results Wellness Lifestyle – the UK’s leading online fitness programme, alongside Lucy Mecklenburgh and a celebrity personal trainer.

Cecilia discusses the differences between the younger and older generation’s relationship to sharing and the internet plus the part our values play in the conversation. She reveals her fitness journey which led her to be in the position she is in today.

As a mother of a 19 year old son, Cecilia unlocks why so many millennials feel overwhelmed, she says: Millennials have been brought up with different values to the older generation. I think for them, it’s much easier to talk about their feelings and to share if they’re stressed, worried, overwhelmed, or anxious.

“We share so much nowadays – of course there’s nothing wrong with sharing, but I believe that’s where the confusion arises as it all becomes a little too overwhelming. Millennials become overwhelmed because they attach a reason to every single thing they’re feeling, rather than saying I just am, and this is who I am.”

They also discuss the importance of values in our everyday lives, why they align with purposeful living, and how vital they are in our children’s teachings.

Cecilia also talks about the genesis of RWL and how it’s developed into a thriving community seven years after its launch, with thousands of women who are all helping each other work out.

Take Flight Podcast is available on Apple, Spotify and all major podcast platforms.
