Comedy podcast festival, Cheerful Earful has announced a new wave of comedy stars for the October 2025 event, which takes place in London, Melbourne and New York.
The latest line-up additions include Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, known for his global hit podcast Films To Be Buried With. Goldstein will also join the Birthday Girls House Party show as a special guest.
Other highlights include Nish Kumar appearing on 101 Jobs with Giles Bidder, Ben Whitehead – the official voice of Wallace in Wallace & Gromit – on Limited Time Only, and comedian Sophie Garrad on Guestimators.
Ria Lina, Alasdair Beckett-King, Iszi Lawrence, Rob Copland and Nick Helm are also confirmed across shows such as Lateral, Cheap Show, and Getting Dafoe You.
This year’s festival already has over 50 podcasts across 15 days, but the UK leg has now been supercharged with some of the country’s best-known performers. The London programme will run from 12–19 October, with The Bedford in Balham as the hub venue.
Alongside the London events, Cheerful Earful will also return to Melbourne from 3–5 October and New York from 7–9 October, continuing its mission to showcase comedy podcast talent internationally.
The new guest names join a previously announced roster that includes Trusty Hogs, BudPod, and Lateral with Tom Scott.
Festival Director Giles Gear said: “One of the joys of Cheerful Earful is the mix of brilliant podcasts and their even more brilliant guests.
“This year, audiences will not only see their favourite podcasters but also some of comedy and entertainment’s most recognisable names. We’re especially excited to have performers like Nish, Brett, and Ben joining the party.”
