CNBC launches Executive Decisions podcast hosted by Steve Sedgwick

CNBC has launched a new podcast series, Executive Decisions, hosted by veteran financial journalist and Squawk Box Europe co-anchor Steve Sedgwick.

The series features conversations with some of the world’s most influential business leaders and policymakers, focusing on the moments that defined their careers.

Each episode goes behind the scenes of pivotal decisions, exploring how executives navigated risk, uncertainty and conviction on their way to success.

The podcast launches with three episodes featuring Jo Malone CBE, founder of one of the world’s most recognisable fragrance brands; Christian Bruch, CEO of Siemens Energy, who is steering the company through the global energy transition; and Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group, who is driving innovation in financial markets.

Together, they share personal insights into creativity, resilience and leadership in times of change.

Future guests include leaders such as Tim Adams of the International Institute of Finance, Victor Riparbelli of Synthesia, Estelle Brachianoff of Veolia, Hugh Brasher of London Marathon Events, Andy Briggs of Phoenix Group, Ilham Kadri of Syensqo, Andrea Rossi of M&G, Dominik von Achten of Heidelberg Materials, and Sir Nigel Wilson of Canary Wharf Group.

“Executive Decisions is about more than just boardroom choices, it’s about human stories of leadership, resilience and foresight,” says Steve Sedgwick. “These conversations show that defining moments often come with doubt and risk, but also with the potential to transform industries and careers.”

Launching today, new episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays, available on all major podcast platforms, with extended versions airing on CNBC TV at weekends.
