Crowd Network is teaming up with Royal London, Mitsubishi Electric and Funding Circle to support its coverage of the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
The partnerships centre on For The Love Of Rugby, the award-winning podcast hosted by Red Roses Sadia Kabeya and Maud Muir, former England international Shaunagh Brown, and World Cup winner Ruby Tui.
They are joined by FTLOR co-founders Ben Youngs and Dan Cole, who together provide weekly reviews every Monday and listener Q&A episodes every Thursday.
Since launching in January 2024, FTLOR has grown into one of Crowd’s biggest shows and a leading rugby podcast nationally. It picked up Gold for “Best Rugby Podcast” at the 2025 Sports Podcast Awards and is also nominated for “Best Sports Podcast” at this year’s British Podcast Awards.
The show has a strong track record in major rugby tournaments, driving a 10% follower increase and more than 2.3 million longform episode streams during the British and Irish Lions tour. Its Guinness Men’s Six Nations coverage broke records with over 54 million social media views.
Alongside FTLOR, Crowd is also producing World Rugby’s official Women’s Rugby World Cup podcast, expanding the sport’s reach across digital platforms.
Steve Jones, Content Director at Crowd, said: “As the momentum for women’s sports continues to build, it’s important that investment from brands matches growing fanbases.
“It happened with the Lionesses’ Euros success in 2022 and 2025, and we’re seeing it again in the Women’s Rugby World Cup. And this is, in part, thanks to brands finally providing the financial support female athletes need and deserve.
“It’s brilliant to work with the likes of Royal London, Mitsubishi Electric, and Funding Circle, that all understand the importance of supporting women’s sports and the media spaces devoted to them.
“We challenge other businesses to step up to the mark and invest meaningfully in women’s sports, to help them grow even further.”
