Edison Research has unveiled the UK’s Top 25 podcasts for Q3 2025.
The latest Edison Podcast Metrics data confirms that The Joe Rogan Experience, The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett, and The Rest Is Politics continue to dominate the top of the chart, mirroring their positions from Q2 this year.
The full list shows that the top six programmes remain unchanged from the previous quarter, maintaining a consistent lead among weekly listeners aged fifteen and over.
There are several notable shifts across the Top 10 highlighting how audience habits continue to evolve across the country.
One of the biggest new stories in this quarter’s rankings is the arrival of RedHanded in the Top 25 for the first time.
The true crime series, created by two London-based hosts who decided to start a podcast after meeting at a party several years ago, continues to grow its dedicated following and now breaks into the nation’s most-heard shows.
Significant upward movement also comes from You’re Dead to Me, which climbs an impressive thirty-three positions to re-enter the Top 25 for the first time since Q1 this year.
ShxtsNGigs also reaches a major milestone by entering the Top 10 for the first time since Q3 last year, marking a strong return to the upper tier of the chart.
Football-focused series The Overlap secures its highest-ever placement at number seventeen. Hosted by former England defender Gary Neville, the show drew additional attention in Q3 after a former footballer publicly questioned why its male presenters had overlooked contributions from the female host, sparking debate among listeners.
Edison confirms that its rankings now fully include individuals whose only podcast engagement in the past week came through video. Respondents are now asked whether they watched a video podcast as well as whether they listened, widening the scope of the survey.
Edison Podcast Metrics remains distinct in the market because it does not rely on download data and does not require networks to participate.
Each quarter, at least two thousand weekly UK podcast listeners are surveyed, using the same proven methodology applied in the U.S., ensuring results reflect real behaviour across all platforms and listening formats.
