Lioness and Manchester United star Ella Toone is stepping into the world of media with the launch of her new show Ella & Friends.
The show, which takes fans behind the scenes of football and life with Ella’s closest mates, is the first production from Toone’s new media company, Amicizia Studios.
The new creative venture is focused on storytelling, connection and showcasing authentic voices in and around women’s football. The name Amicizia, meaning “friendship” in Italian, captures the spirit of the company and the tone of the new show.
Launching this Sunday, each episode will bring together Toone and her friends for honest chats about life on and off the pitch, with celebrity guests and surprise appearances adding to the mix.
Ella said: “I’ve always loved being able to show who I really am off the pitch, and Ella & Friends is all about that. It’s me and my mates having a laugh, talking life and everything in between. I’m buzzing for people to see it and launching it through Amicizia Studios makes it even more special.”
James Marshall, Co-Founder of Amicizia Studios and Toone’s manager, added: “It’s great to finally get the show launched as our first production.
“Ella has always wanted to do something with her mates, and this was the perfect idea. These girls are so relatable, and we hope they’ll entertain a growing audience in the women’s game.”
Ella & Friends will run for ten weeks, with new episodes every Sunday on YouTube and Spotify.
