Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders are back together for a new podcast series which is launched today (6 October).
French & Saunders: Titting About, hosted by the award-winning comedy double act sees the pair quite literally ‘tit about’ with six topics, from useful tips on airport shopping to naming their top-three vegetables.
The series, launched by Audible, is a showcase of the quick-witted comedic minds of the Bafta and British Comedy Award winning double act.
Commenting on the new podcast series, Dawn French said: “Titting About with Fatty is the best fun I’ve had without my incontinence pants on. Which, on reflection, was a mistake. Some soft furnishings were damaged in the making of this series.”
Jennifer Saunders added: “I can’t imagine anything I’d rather be doing than titting about with Dawn . We both have tits after all”.
The couple’s comedy developed through starting their live comedy careers around the time of the Alternative Comedy Circuit, where Dawn and Jennifer were part of the famous Comic Stripline-up, before starring in their own award-winning BBC sketch show that ran for six series. Separately they also have worked on two of the most popular UK sitcoms of all time: namely The Vicar of Dibley and Absolutely Fabulous.
