Podcast subscription service Podimo has named Georgia Brown as its new Chief Content Officer.
Brown will lead the company’s global content strategy, overseeing original podcasts, video, and digital formats. She will also manage Podimo’s newly launched Studios division, which brings together its content production arms under one umbrella.
The Studios unit will focus on creating new revenue streams through licensing, brand partnerships, live events, and international growth.
Podimo’s previous acquisitions Podads, Tonny Media, and Dag en Nacht Media, are now part of Podimo Studios.
Brown has extensive experience in content production and distribution. As former Head of Amazon Studios, Europe, she helped grow the company’s regional operations from a single-person UK office to a multi-market presence.
During her time there, she delivered hits such as Clarkson’s Farm, The Rig, LOL: Last One Laughing, and All or Nothing. She has also held senior roles at Fremantle, Shine Group, and BBC Worldwide.
Based in London, Brown joins Podimo’s leadership team during a period of expansion. “The future of content lies in convergence—between traditional entertainment and the dynamic, fast-growing creator economy,” she said. “We are uniquely positioned to bridge that gap.”
Her appointment comes as current Chief Content Officer Sachin Doshi prepares to step down in September. He will remain involved with Podimo as a board member and strategic adviser.
Podimo CEO Morten Strunge said the company is aiming to lead in premium storytelling and platform innovation.
“Under Georgia’s creative leadership and backed by Podimo’s strong tech and product foundation, we are positioning ourselves at the forefront of premium storytelling,” he said.
