Grace Cordell and Stuart Blues launch new horror podcast The Final Cut

Horror fans are being treated to the ultimate rewatch companion podcast, The Final Cut, from Mercury Podcast Network.

Each season will dissect a legendary horror series, beginning with Saw, the terrifying saga of Jigsaw, his traps, and the twisted morality that redefined cinema in the 2000s.

Hosts Grace Cordell and Stuart Blues bring their true crime backgrounds and horror obsessions together for a mix of storytelling, analysis, and behind-the-scenes trivia.

Grace, whose podcast REDRUM has surpassed six million downloads, says the new show is deeply personal: “The Final Cut is my love letter to horror – Saw felt like the perfect place to start, because it’s clever, brutal, and it completely changed the genre.”

Stuart, who has built a loyal audience with British Murders, adds: “True crime might be my main focus, but horror has always been my first love, so joining The Final Cut to talk all things Saw felt like the perfect crossover.”

Future seasons will explore other great horror franchises with the same forensic approach.

Liam Heffernan, Founder & CEO of Mercury, believes the show sets a new standard: “As a horror fan myself, I was so excited when Grace first told me about The Final Cut.

“She and Stuart bring their trademark styles together under a shared love of horror films with a podcast that’s part rewatch show, part true crime, and gut-wrenchingly good.

“Mercury’s mission is to represent the best independent creators in the world, and with The Final Cut, Grace basically handed me a supergroup of true crime podcasters. It’s a no-brainer, and listeners are in for a real treat.”

The Final Cut launches on Friday, 3 October, with new episodes released weekly.
