The BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds podcast is hosted by entrepreneur and YouTube sensation Yianni Charalambous.
It features sports stars, influencers, and artists from around the world revealing their โside-hustlesโ โ entrepreneurial achievements they have made on the side of what theyโre best known for.
Episode one of the new series features former professional footballer Bacary Sagna with stories of how he entered the tech and non-profit worlds, football sensation Liv Cooke discussing football freestyling and property development, and artist Aston Merrygold talks about his new dance studio and reuniting with JLS.
Other guests lined up include J2K, Rimzee, Leomie Anderson, Ahmed Alsanawi, and Patricia Bright.
Yianni made his name after documenting his love for supercars on social media. His YouTube channel has achieved over 300 million views and showcases his own business vinyl wrapping cars for celebrities like James Arthur, Jeremy Lynch and KSI.
Yianni said: โI have been an entrepreneur for over 25 years and have owned various businesses including and ice cream shop and a car wash before starting Yiannimize.
โSocial media really helped to take Yiannimize to new heights. For my guests, their routes to business success have all been different and as an entrepreneur it is so interesting to hear these stories.
โIโm excited about this series of How We Hustle because we delve into what it takes to be successful in the business and the mindset it takes to get there. I love that, along with the audience you get to take away first-hand advice and practical tips.โ
The podcast is produced by UK independent production company Renowned Films. Its cofounder and CEO Duane Jones said: โYianni is a hustler through and through just like myself, and his own inspiring entrepreneurial journey and experiences helped us create an unmissable series for all aspiring go-getters out there.
โSeries one featured some remarkable guests, whose unique business insights provided a true education on how to hustle. Series two promises even more motivational journeys and real conversations about all aspects of entrepreneurial business – from tech to trainers.
โFilled with street-savvy advice and genuine insight you might not find on your standard business podcasts, itโs a must listen for all future entrepreneurs out thereโ
BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 5 Live, commissioner Dylan Haskins, added: โWeโre delighted to be working with Yianni once again on the new series of How We Hustle.
โHeโs proven what a natural presenter he is chatting to guests like JME, Lethal Bizzle and Tiffany Calver about their various different side hustles and Iโm excited to see where his conversations will lead with the brilliant guests in this new series.
โItโs also great to be working with Renowned and their talented production team on their first audio commission for BBC.โ
