iHeartMedia and Netflix have entered a new exclusive partnership that will see more than fifteen leading iHeartPodcasts launched as video podcasts on the streaming platform.
Under the agreement, all new episodes from the selected podcasts, along with a number of library episodes, will be available on Netflix in early 2026 in the US, with additional international markets expected to follow.
The deal covers some of the biggest names in radio and podcasting, including The Breakfast Club, My Favorite Murder and Bobby Bones Presents: The Bobbycast, alongside shows hosted by high-profile talent such as Chelsea Handler, Fat Joe and Jadakiss, and the stars of Workaholics.
Bob Pittman, CEO of iHeartMedia, said audio podcasting has been the fastest-growing medium over the past two decades and described video podcasts as a natural next step, adding that working with Netflix gives fans another way to connect with hosts while opening the shows to new audiences discovering them for the first time.
Netflixโs Vice President of Content Licensing and Programming Strategy, Lauren Smith, said the partnership would bring unmatched variety to Netflix members, highlighting the mix of true crime, culture, comedy and conversation featured in the initial collection.
The podcasts joining Netflix include The Breakfast Club, which recently surpassed one billion downloads, My Favorite Murder with approximately two billion lifetime downloads, and The Psychology of Your 20s, alongside curiosity and history titles such as Stuff You Missed in History Class and Behind the Bastards.
Music, sports and culture are also represented through shows including Joe and Jada, New Rory & MAL, and 3 and Out with John Middlekauff, while comedy fans will be able to watch Dear Chelsea and This Is Important in video form.
iHeartMedia will retain all audio-only rights and distribution for the podcasts included in the agreement, with all shows continuing to be available on iHeartRadio and across all major podcast platforms.
