The Routes with LNER podcast returns this September with a brand-new season and a new host.
Broadcaster and travel enthusiast Jenni Falconer takes over the reins this season, bringing her passion for journeys and storytelling to the series, which explores the personal and memorable routes that have shaped each guestโs life.
Jenni Falconer said: โTravel has always been a big part of my life; I’ve quite literally travelled and lived from the top to the bottom of the UK and in-between!
โI love the sense of adventure, the memories tied to holidays and different parts of my life, and the way certain places just stay with you. Thatโs what Routes from LNER is all about, and Iโm so excited to be hosting this new season.
โI canโt wait to hear the stories behind our guestsโ journeys, the destinations that shaped them, the moments theyโll never forgot, and the personal routes that brought them to where they are today.โ
Stuart Thomas, Communications Director at LNER, added: โIโm delighted to welcome Jenni to Routes from LNER, as we launch season two of our popular podcast.
โI canโt wait to hear more great stories from our famous guests. Having the podcast available on our trains via the seatback QR code means that our customers get the opportunity to be entertained while they travel along the East Coast Main Line.
โOf course, itโs also available on all the usual podcast platforms – so people can listen in Aberdeen and Leeds or Amsterdam and Los Angeles.โ
Routes with Jenni Falconer will be available on all major podcast platforms and onboard LNER trains from September.
