Kickstarter for Sir Sherlock: The Red Letter Day coming to a close

Fans have hours left to back Sir Sherlock: The Red Letter Day before its Kickstarter campaign closes.

Produced by AUK Studios, the original audio drama stars Tom Baker as Sir Sherlock Holmes, marking his first return to the role since the BBC’s 1982 adaptation of The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Set in 1924, The Red Letter Day follows a newly knighted Holmes drawn out of retirement and back into a London murder investigation, where he reunites with Dr John Watson.

Tom is joined by fellow Doctor Who actor John Leeson as Doctor Watson, alongside Nicholas Rowe, known for Young Sherlock Holmes and Mr. Holmes, and Katy Ashworth from CBeebies.

The drama is written by Gary Hopkins, whose previous credits include the Granada Television adaptations of The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes and The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes starring Jeremy Brett.

Backers of the campaign can secure exclusive CD editions, official novelisations and Kickstarter-only discounts before the deadline.

Supporters can find full details and pledge via the Kickstarter campaign page.
