Stand-up comic Laura Smyth is teaming up with her best friend Carmen Butcher for a new Global Original podcast.
Shouldn’t Laugh But… with Laura Smyth and Carmen Butcher will see the duo set aside life’s seriousness and embrace the silly, as they lean into intrusive thoughts, laugh at the ridiculous and pick apart the week’s strangest stories.
Topics will range from their own personal disasters to eye-catching headlines, such as Jeff Bezos’ $50 million wedding, an unlikely Ibiza ‘final boss,’ and bizarre moments from Florida.
Each week will also feature a bonus mailbag episode, giving listeners the chance to share their own embarrassing stories and cringe-worthy experiences for the pair to dissect.
