Louis Theroux podcast returns with new star-studded series seven

The Louis Theroux Podcast is returning for series seven, featuring a mix of entertainment, sport, and music guests.

The new run includes tennis player Boris Becker, Twin Peaks actor Kyle Maclachlan, singer Lulu, comedian Stewart Lee, Icelandic musician Laufey and investigative journalist Patrick Radden Keefe. A bonus episode and further guests are also expected.

Since its 2023 launch, the show has become a major platform for in-depth interviews, with previous series hosting Florence Pugh, Steve Coogan, Malala Yousafzai and Michael Palin.

Louis Theroux is praised for drawing out sides of high-profile guests that audiences rarely see, applying his experience from years of documentary-making.

The podcast’s back-catalogue offers a wide range of interviews, from Little Simz and Ed Sheeran, to Michael Cera, Nick Cave and Tracey Emin, alongside headline-making episodes with Jimmy Carr and Bella Ramsey.

Louis said: “Someone once said to me that the key to a great conversation is genuine curiosity. Each one, it strikes me now, comes from a different area of professional life, but all of them practise their art forms at the highest levels.

“It’s a real pleasure having these conversations and being allowed the space to let them flow and go in surprising directions, and with no topics off the tables.”

The Louis Theroux Podcast is produced by Mindhouse and available on all podcast platforms, with video episodes exclusively on Spotify. Series seven launches Tuesday 3 March.
