Comedians Lucy Beaumont and Sam Campbell are preparing to launch the second series of their hit podcast Lucy & Sam’s Perfect Brains after a successful first series earlier this year.
Known for surreal tangents, absurd theories and wildly unpredictable formats, the show highlights the pair’s unique comedic chemistry and irrepressible humour. Since its debut in March 2024, the podcast has amassed over 1.6 million downloads.
Series two promises even more surprises, with special guests including Mike Wozniak, Tim Key, James Acaster and the return of fan favourite Lucy’s mum.
Each episode takes a completely different form, covering topics ranging from the human body to the greatest Saints of all time, and showcases the duo’s commitment to unpredictability.
Lucy Beaumont said: “I’ve been forced, against my will, to make another podcast with Sam. Just like my time in the Secret Service I will do it with utmost sincerity and professionalism. Let’s see where this mad project takes us.”
Sam Campbell added: “Of all the people I’ve spoken to in my life, Lucy is easily the most… um… amazing. Together we hope to cover a broad range of topics.”
