Made in Chelsea’s Emily Blackwell and her mum Rachel are launching a new podcast.
Emily joined the Made in Chelsea cast when she was just 20 and now eight years on, she’s a household name.
Mum Rachel is incredibly proud of her, but she wants in on the action and so together they are launching Emily Blackwell’s Mother Half.
Each week, Emily and Rachel meet up, catch up and Emily guides her mum on how to become a social media star: How should she clean up her socials? What should she post on Tik Tok? What brands might pay her to post and how many followers does she need to get a freebie?
As they chat, a quite unusual mother/daughter relationship is revealed. The bond is there but the boundaries aren’t, so the conversation will be funny, direct and explicit. Emily’s celebrity friends will also be popping in to talk about their relationship with their mum and advise Rachel on how to increase her all important social media following.
Emily Blackwell’s Mother Half is the latest podcast release from Bauer Media Audio UK.
Emily said: “I can’t believe that I’m saying this but I’m making a podcast with my very own mother! It seemed like a good idea over a glass of wine… Pray for me, and this podcast, as I never know what’s going to come out of her mouth and neither of us have much of a filter!”
