Pottermore Publishing and Audible have announced more high-profile names joining the 200-strong ensemble cast of Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions.
Newly revealed cast members include Bill Nighy as Professor Slughorn, David Holmes as Stan Shunpike, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as Sirius Black, Mackenzie Crook as Kreacher, Anna Maxwell Martin as Rita Skeeter, Stephen Mangan as Nearly Headless Nick, Tracy-Ann Oberman as Madam Hooch, Millie Gubby as Luna Lovegood, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson as Professor Trelawney.
Jude Farrant and Maximus Evans will voice Draco Malfoy across the series, while Jake Sigsworth and Archie Mountain share the role of Neville Longbottom.
This latest announcement adds to an already star-studded lineup, including Hugh Laurie as Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Snape, Cush Jumbo OBE as narrator, Kit Harington as Lockhart, Keira Knightley as Umbridge, Iwan Rheon as Lupin, Ruth Wilson as Bellatrix Lestrange, and James McAvoy as Mad-Eye Moody.
Rising stars Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton will voice Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the first three books, with Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan, and Nina Barker-Francis taking over from Goblet of Fire onwards.
Bill Nighy said: “I was pleased to be asked to play the Professor after having already played a Minister for Magic. Is it possible that I’m the only actor who can claim that achievement? It means my career continues to have meaning for the next couple of generations.”
David Holmes, who worked as Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double in the films, added: “Being part of this feels full circle for me. I hope everybody enjoys my performance and both old and new audiences will connect with these magical stories. Tickets please…”
The full-cast editions will include Dolby Atmos sound design, cinematic scoring, and authentic real-world audio capture.
Each of the seven books will be released in sequence, beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on 4 November and concluding with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on 12 May 2026.
